Scholarships and fellowships provide significant recognition and monetary reward for students who continue to strive for academic success.
The Scholarships Committee of Universities New Zealand – Te Pōkai Tara administers a wide range of nationally available undergraduate and postgraduate awards. Study opportunities provided by these scholarships are critical when financial support for individual students is increasingly difficult to obtain.
The scholarships offered are funded from contributions of charitable trusts, individuals, governments and industry. We currently handle nearly 40 scholarships.

The New Zealand Law Foundation offers a small number of significant prizes, awards and scholarships.
The Doctoral Scholarship in Law is available to provide financial support to postgraduate doctoral study and research in law in New Zealand, research which will benefit New Zealand and its legal system.
The closing date for applications is 1 October 2010.
